Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has voiced support for U.S. president Donald Trump’s proposal to hold a trilateral summit with Russia, saying Kyiv is ready for constructive cooperation and believes key issues should be resolved directly at the level of national leaders.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday that Kyiv remains committed to constructive cooperation and stands ready to work tirelessly towards peace. Writing on the social network X, Zelenskyy expressed support for U.S. president Donald Trump’s proposal to hold a trilateral summit bringing together the leaders of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia.

“Ukraine reaffirms its readiness to work with maximum effort to achieve peace,” he said, stressing that Kyiv believes the most critical issues can and should be addressed directly at the level of heads of state. According to Zelenskyy, such a trilateral format would provide a suitable platform for serious dialogue and could become an important step toward ending the conflict.
