The text of the Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia has been made public.
On 8 August 2025, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the President of the United States of America, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia initialled the text of the “Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia.”
In addition, following the joint appeal of the foreign ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office regarding the closure of the OSCE Minsk Process and related structures (the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on the conflict under discussion at the Minsk Conference and the High-Level Planning Group), today a draft decision on the closure was circulated among the OSCE participating States at the OSCE Ministerial Council. They were called upon to support the necessary procedures for the adoption of the decision.
