Russia’s car imports have dropped by 63% in the first six months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, falling to 149,300 units, according to data released by Russian automotive analytics agency Avtostat.
China remained the top exporter to Russia, accounting for 77% of all car imports. Kyrgyzstan followed with 8%, Belarus with 4.7%, and South Korea with 4.4%.
Avtostat said the most imported brands during the period were Changan, Geely, Haval, TANK, and Toyota.
