President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree relieving Roman Starovoit of his duties as Russia’s Minister of Transport, according to an official announcement published on 7 July.
Starovoit had held the post since May 2024. Prior to that, he served as the governor of Kursk Region (2018–2024) and headed the Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor) from 2012 to 2018.
The presidential decree did not specify the reasons for his dismissal.
