Ukrainian special forces hit a key Russian airbase in Voronezh, targeting a bomb store and aircraft in a bold overnight strike.
Ukraine’s special forces struck Russia’s Borisoglebsk military airfield in the Voronezh region, damaging a glide bomb warehouse and a trainer aircraft, according to a military statement. Ukrainian forces suspect more aircraft were also hit at the base, which hosts Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-30SM fighter jets.
Meanwhile, regional governor Alexander Gusev reported that over 25 drones were shot down overnight and a power line was damaged, but did not confirm an airfield attack.
