Hamas has submitted its response to the U.S.-brokered Gaza ceasefire proposal to mediators and says it is ready to begin immediate talks.
In a written statement released on Friday, Hamas said the reply was given following consultations with other Palestinian political factions.
"Hamas has submitted a positive response to the mediators and is fully prepared to immediately enter a serious round of negotiations to implement the proposal," the statement read.
According to Israeli media, Israel is reviewing Hamas' response to the Gaza ceasefire proposal, although no official statement has been made.
