Baku Energy Week 2025 has spotlighted Azerbaijan’s rising energy role, as it secures landmark oil, gas, and renewable energy deals with global partners, reinforcing its commitment to diversification and security.
Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR and Canada’s Gran Tierra Energy Inc. have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to conduct joint research focused on the technical and economic assessment of a project to explore, develop, and produce hydrocarbon resources in the Guba-Caspian region.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized Türkiye and Azerbaijan’s strategic partnership in energy, highlighting their growing role in ensuring regional and European energy security.
“Baku Energy Week,” the region’s leading energy industry event, kicks off its 30th edition today, bringing together global energy leaders for impactful discussions and collaborations. This milestone event continues to strengthen Azerbaijan’s role in the international energy arena.
