The Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Consulate General in Tabriz, as well as the Embassy in the State of Israel, continue to process calls received via hotlines from Azerbaijani citizens in Iran.
That's according to the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Aykhan Hajizada who said that the safe passage of a total of 41 Azerbaijani citizens, including family members of embassy staff, across the Iran-Azerbaijan border has been ensured as an initial step.
However, the embassies and the relevant consulate said they are continuing their operations in Iran.
