The International Ski Mountaineering Federation (ISMF) has approved the request submitted by Azerbaijan’s Winter Sports Federation to hold these major international events.
As a result, ISMF has officially included the competitions in its calendar and confirmed that the "Shahdag Tourism Center" will be the venue for both events.
The European Championship is scheduled to take place from March 4–8, 2026, while the World Cup will be held at the same location from March 6–8, 2026.
