In 2025, cargo transportation via the Middle Corridor is expected to reach 4.2 million tons. This was stated by the Secretary General of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) International Association, Gaidar Abdikerimov, during a press briefing in Baku.
According to him, 2.5 million tons of this volume will consist of dry cargo, while 1.7 million tons will be oil shipments.
The Secretary General also touched on last year’s figures, noting that a total of 3.332 million tons of cargo was transported via the Middle Corridor in 2024, of which 1.857 million tons were dry cargo.
It should be noted that today, the General Assembly meeting of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) International Association was held in Baku.
