Azerbaijan reports cross-border fire from Armenia for third day
Azerbaijan on Tuesday reported cross-border fire targeting its military positions from Armenia for the third day in a row.
Armenia continues to remain the biggest producer of landmines in the South Caucasus region, said Hikmet Hajiyev, Azerbaijan's President Assistant in today's post on the platform X
"“silent death” - implanted by Armenia deliberately in millions in formerly occupied territories of Azerbaijan causing severe consequences, taking the lives of civilians, leaving people permanently disabled, and leading to serious psychological trauma," it reads.
"Armenia bears responsibility for this at the state level," Hajiyev stated in the post titled "the Humanitarian Toll of Landmines on Azerbaijan".
