BP is considering increasing its investments in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, according to Russell Morris, BP's Vice President for Wells in the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Türkiye (AGT) region.
Speaking at the IADC Drilling Caspian 2025 exhibition-conference in Baku, Morris emphasized the company's continued commitment to project development in the Caspian Sea while maintaining a strong operational pace.
He noted that while production from the ACG block of fields is naturally declining, the Shah Deniz facilities remain fully operational. Additionally, BP is planning new projects that will create further investment opportunities in Azerbaijan’s Caspian region.
