AnewZ and Pakistan TV have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in the media sector through staff training, content sharing and joint projects.
The agreement was signed at AnewZ headquarters on 22 December by Rufat Hamzayev, executive director of AnewZ, and Adil Shahzeb, head of Pakistan TV.
Hamzayev said the memorandum underlined the importance of expanding media cooperation between the two countries and set out plans to deepen collaboration.
Shahzeb also noted the significance of the agreement, saying it would help strengthen professional ties between the two broadcasters and support the exchange of experience and content.
The partnership will focus on staff training and internships, content sharing, joint productions and collaboration on special projects, as well as cooperation in the provision of correspondents and technical resources for media coverage. Cooperation on forums, roundtables and high-level meetings will be governed by additional arrangements.
The memorandum builds on earlier engagement between the two organisations. During the D-8 Forum programme in Baku, a Pakistani delegation visited the AnewZ headquarters.
