Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Luca Beccari, San Marino’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Political Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Digital Transition, during an official visit to Italy.
The meeting focused on the current state of relations between the two countries and their future development prospects.
Both sides highlighted opportunities to expand political dialogue, strengthen the mechanism for political consultations between the foreign ministries, increase reciprocal visits, and develop cooperation across multiple sectors.

During the talks, Minister Bayramov briefed his counterpart on Azerbaijan’s initiatives to promote peace and stability in the region, the ongoing normalisation process with Armenia, agreements reached under the Washington Joint Declaration, and large-scale reconstruction efforts in territories liberated from occupation.
The discussion also covered cooperation within international organisations, as well as regional and global issues of mutual interest, including the situation in the Middle East and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
