Meta is turning to nuclear power to meet its rising energy needs for artificial intelligence and computing.
Kyrgyzstan has announced the creation of an interagency task force aimed at supervising and enhancing laboratory testing for agricultural products, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry said on Sunday.
The initiative is designed to ensure compliance with technical and food safety regulations and boost the international competitiveness of domestic produce.
The decision was made during a high-level meeting chaired by Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Agriculture. Discussions centered on improving the certification process for agricultural goods and streamlining trade documentation procedures.

Officials stressed that Kyrgyzstan’s current certification and testing systems are already in alignment with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and international standards, but additional steps are necessary to raise quality benchmarks and enhance export readiness.
The task force is part of the government’s broader strategy to improve product traceability, increase food safety assurance, and support agricultural exports—a sector critical to Kyrgyzstan’s economic development.
