Kazakhstan will once again host global leaders, policymakers, and business experts at the Astana International Forum in May, following a one-year break.
The Astana International Forum (AIF) will be held on May 29 and 30 under the theme “Connecting Minds, Shaping Future” to explore strategies for sustainable growth, investment, and innovation.
“AIF2025 is poised to once again re-energize the global community, offering perspectives fresh and collaborative solutions to some of the most critical challenges facing humanity today” – said Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in its welcome statement.
Uniquely situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Kazakhstan bridges East and West. This strategic vantage point on the world – geographically, culturally, and politically – positions Kazakhstan to drive these crucial conversations and to foster meaningful collaboration among the world’s foremost policymakers, business leaders, and public intellectuals, it is noted.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has signed the order instructing the establishment of the AIF2025 organizing committee. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy will oversee the preparation process.
Last year, AIF was cancelled due to the devastating floods in the country.
In 2023, the inaugural AIF gathered over 5,000 participants from more than 50 countries.
