Central Asia’s fastest supercomputer, powered by the high-end NVIDIA H200 graphics processor, has been launched in Kazakhstan at the National Supercomputer Center "Alemcloud."
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended the launch ceremony on Wednesday, held at the newly established Data Center of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that the launch of the supercomputer powered by the NVIDIA H200 marks a significant milestone in advancing digital transformation across key sectors.
The supercomputer is designed to deliver up to 2 exaflops of computing performance using FP8 precision or 8-bit floating-point.
The new system is expected to drive substantial progress in the development of digital technologies in Kazakhstan.
High-performance computing resources will be made available to startups working on neural network solutions, as well as to universities, research institutions, and both public and private enterprises.
