Along with the “Big Five” — the UK, Spain, Germany, France, and Italy — and host country Switzerland, represented by Nemo, who won Eurovision 2024, they will compete for the title. Switzerland, hosting for the first time in 36 years, will showcase its stunning landscapes. The final will take place at Basel’s St. Jakobshalle Arena, with a capacity of 12,000 spectators.

The second semi-final, featuring 16 more participants, will take place on May 15. Millions of viewers worldwide, including 163 million last year, are expected to watch the competition. Sweden's KAJ group is currently the favorite to win, with high expectations for their victory.
