Eurozone annual inflation reached 2.1% in August, up from 2% in July, Eurostat announced on Wednesday.

The highest inflation rates were recorded in Estonia (4.6%), Slovakia (4.3%) and Latvia (3.7%). The lowest figures were reported in the Greek Cypriot Administration (0.4%), France (0.6%) and Ireland (1.4%).
