At least three people have been killed and several others injured after an Iranian missile struck the southern Israeli city of Be'er Sheva, hitting a residential building.

The seven-story building was hit directly just hours before U.S. President Donald Trump announced a proposed ceasefire between Iran and Israel. Emergency services rushed to the scene, where rescue efforts are still ongoing.

According to Israeli reports, Iran launched a total of six missiles overnight — two in the first wave, and four more in a second barrage. One of those projectiles hit Beersheba, located south of Tel Aviv.

Air raid sirens were also heard across Tel Aviv and central Israel as Iranian strikes continued.
