U.S. President Donald Trump today celebrated a potential turning point in regional tensions, declaring "CONGRATULATIONS WORLD, IT’S TIME FOR PEACE!" in a post on Truth Social.
President Donald Trump expressed gratitude to Iran for providing “early notice” before launching missile strikes on a U.S. air base in Qatar. Trump emphasized that no Americans were harmed and that damage was minimal during the attack.
He added that he hopes Iran will now “proceed to peace and harmony in the region” and said he would “enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same.”
Trump also thanked the Emir of Qatar for his efforts in promoting regional peace, highlighting that the advance warning helped prevent any loss of life or injuries during the missile strike.
