Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited all Arab League leaders and the organization's Secretary General to the first-ever Russia-Arab summit on October 15, aiming to strengthen cooperation and enhance peace and stability in the Middle East and North Africa.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended an invitation to all leaders and the Secretary General of the Arab League for the inaugural Russia-Arab summit, scheduled for October 15, according to Russian news agencies citing a Kremlin statement.

"I am confident that this meeting will further strengthen the mutually beneficial, multifaceted cooperation between our countries and help identify ways to ensure peace, security, and stability in the Middle East and North Africa," Putin was quoted as saying by Interfax.

The Arab League, a regional organization comprising 22 member states from the Middle East and parts of Africa, is committed to cooperation in areas such as politics, economics, and military affairs.

The announcement follows a four-day visit by U.S. President Donald Trump to the Gulf, during which Washington secured several major deals, including a $600 billion investment commitment from Saudi Arabia, $142 billion in arms sales to the kingdom, and an AI partnership with the United Arab Emirates.
