The U.S. State Department has given the green light for the possible sale of missiles and related systems to Türkiye, according to a Pentagon announcement on Wednesday.
The estimated value of the sale is $304 million and includes AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles. The principal contractor for the deal will be RTX Corporation, based in Arizona.
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency submitted the necessary certification and notified Congress of the potential sale on Wednesday.
