Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a heartfelt letter of condolences to Cardinal Kevin Farrell, the Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church, following the passing of Pope Francis.

In his message, President Aliyev expressed deep sorrow over the death of the pontiff, describing Pope Francis as a leader who had a profound impact on the Catholic Church and the world at large. Aliyev commended the Pope's efforts to promote peace, compassion, and dialogue, noting his commitment to social justice and humanitarian causes.
