Early voting has begun in Ecuador, with ballot boxes delivered to the elderly and people with disabilities ahead of Sunday’s presidential election.
Under Ecuador's "Vote from home" initiative, run by the National Electoral Council (CNE), early voting was made available to 662 voters over the age of 50 with significant disabilities.
The CNE plans to count all ballots after the presidential vote on Sunday.
More than 13 million Ecuadoreans are eligible to cast their votes to elect a new president on Sunday.
