A Peruvian man has survived after being run over by a train in Lima.
Surveillance footage captured the shocking moment as the man, asleep on the tracks, was rolled over by a slow-moving train. Miraculously, he managed to stand up and limp away.
Authorities identified the victim as a 28-year-old man who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time.
Police and emergency responders arrived quickly, and he was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. According to media reports, he sustained pressure-related injuries to the second and third fingers of his left hand.
