Russian forces carried out a missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s gas and energy infrastructure during the night of March 6–7, according to Ukraine’s Energy Minister, Herman Halushchenko. The strikes affected facilities across several Ukrainian oblasts.
Halushchenko stated, "Ukraine's energy and gas infrastructure in various oblasts is under missile and drone attack. Where possible, rescue workers and power technicians are addressing the situation. All necessary measures are being taken to stabilize energy and gas supply." He also urged residents to remain in shelters and follow official updates regarding the state of the energy system.
