A knife attack in Mulhouse, a city in eastern France, has resulted in at least one fatality and multiple injuries. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Saturday, February 22, near a market and in proximity to a demonstration, as reported by local media.
Expressing deep sorrow, Mayor Michèle Lutz described the situation as a moment of horror for the city in a Facebook statement.
According to Public Prosecutor Nicolas Heitz, two municipal police officers sustained severe injuries, while three others were lightly wounded.
