Alexander Lukashenko leads with 87.6% in the Belarus presidential election, according to exit poll results released by the Belarusian Committee of Youth Organizations.
The Belarusian Committee of Youth Organizations has released the results of an exit poll conducted during the presidential election.
The poll shows that Alexander Lukashenko received 87.6% of the votes, BelTA reports.
Other candidates trailed significantly, with Oleg Gaidukevich securing 1.8%, Anna Kanopatskaya 1.6%, Sergey Syrankov 2.7%, and Alexander Khizhnyak 1.2%. Additionally, 5.1% of voters opted to vote against all candidates.
The survey was conducted at 320 polling stations and followed a sociological sampling method. Interviews were carried out throughout election day, from the opening of polling stations until they closed.
The poll was conducted anonymously to ensure privacy.
