Russia’s Ministry of Defence released a statement outlining new battlefield developments, claiming its forces have advanced in both the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

According to the statement, Russia launched retaliatory strikes on Ukrainian transport infrastructure, fuel and energy facilities, and a drone manufacturing site. The ministry said the attacks were conducted using long-range, high-precision weapons, including hypersonic Kinjal missiles, and that all designated targets were hit.
On the ground, Russian forces reportedly captured two more settlements. The ministry named them as Kucherovka in the Kharkiv region and Rovnoye in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic.
As the conflict persists, both sides continue to release competing accounts of territorial gains and military operations, underscoring the ongoing volatility along the front lines.
