U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a sharp warning to Hamas after reports that hostages in Gaza City have been moved above ground to serve as human shields against Israel’s ground offensive.
Describing the act as a “human atrocity, the likes of which few have ever seen,” Trump said the group must immediately release all hostages or face unspecified severe consequences.
“Don’t let this happen or all bets are off. Release all hostages now,” he wrote on Truth Social.
The warning comes after the mother of hostage Guy Gilboa-Dalal said her son had been relocated above ground, allegedly to protect Hamas operatives.
