Elon Musk’s Starlink is experiencing a widespread service outage, the company announced on its website on Monday. Downdetector had recorded more than 43,000 users in the United States were affected as of 12:35 a.m. ET (0435 GMT).

The majority of users reported internet connectivity issues (60%), while 39% cited a total blackout and 1% complained of poor service.

“Starlink is currently experiencing a service outage. Our team is investigating,” the company said, offering no further details.

Ukrainian Armed Forces drone systems commander Robert Brovdi (“Madyar”) warned that Starlink had stopped working along the entire frontline.

As of publication, Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, had not commented on the large-scale outage.

Outages are being reported beyond Ukraine as well. Downdetector recorded more than 30,000 complaints about Starlink disruptions by Monday morning.
