U.S. President Donald Trump’s Middle East Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff, met with Ukrainian officials in New York on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing peace process with Russia, sources said.
According to senior officials speaking to Fox News, Witkoff met with Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, and Ukraine’s UN Ambassador Sergiy Kislitsya ahead of an emergency UN Security Council meeting.
The talks were described as “highly productive and constructive,” focusing on reaffirming efforts to bring Ukraine and Russia together to reach a ceasefire.
