A 6.2-magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Panama, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS)
The tremor was recorded at 17:16 GMT on Monday, approximately 206 kilometres south of the Burica region, at a depth of 10 kilometres.
Preliminary reports indicate no casualties or injuries resulting from the quake.
The US Tsunami Warning System has confirmed there is no current tsunami warning, advisory, watch or threat in effect following the earthquake.
