Azerbaijan will host UFC for the first time on June 21 at the Baku Crystal Hall, marking a major milestone for the country's sports scene.
For the first time in history, Azerbaijan will host the UFC on June 21, 2025, at Baku Crystal Hall. The event is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan and Baku City Circuit Operations Company.
UFC President Dana White and Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov signed the agreement in Miami.
The main event will feature former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill against No. 7 contender Khalil Rountree Jr.
The card also features:
- Kyoji Horiguchi vs. Tagir Ulanbekov (flyweight)
- Curtis Blaydes vs. Rizvan Kuniev (heavyweight)
- Rafael Fiziev vs. Ignacio Bahamondes (lightweight co-main event)
Local fighters Nazim Sadykhov and Tofiq Musayev will also compete.
UFC champions Merab Dvalishvili and Belal Muhammad will attend as special guests.
