Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset Discusses Regional Issues with Armenian PM in Yerevan
Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his visit to Yerevan. The two officials discussed regional security and recent developments in the South Caucasus.
Berset stated that the importance of achieving lasting peace with Azerbaijan was a key focus of the meeting. He emphasized the Council of Europe’s readiness to support dialogue and mutual understanding in the region.
According to official reports, the Secretary General also raised issues related to human rights, the rule of law, and cooperation in the field of democracy during his visit.
