Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Egypt to attend the Middle East Peace Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, following an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan is participating in the Middle East Peace Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday, joining more than 20 world leaders in discussions on regional security and post-conflict reconstruction in Gaza.
Aliyev was welcomed on arrival at the International Congress Centre by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, host of the summit, which follows the recent Gaza ceasefire agreement brokered by the U.S., Egypt and Qatar.
