In response to the plane crash near Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has directed key government officials to travel to the site to investigate the incident. The delegation includes the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, the Minister of Emergency Situations, the Deputy Prosecutor General, the Deputy Minister of Health, the Deputy Director of the State Civil Aviation Agency, the Vice President of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), and other representatives from relevant state bodies.
These officials are expected to assist in the ongoing investigation, coordinate with Kazakh authorities, and provide support to the affected families. The investigation will focus on determining the cause of the crash, which involved an Embraer 190 aircraft operated by Azerbaijan Airlines.
