Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, met with South Korea’s Ambassador, Lee Eun Yong, to discuss Azerbaijan-South Korea ties.
Minister Bayramov commended the ambassador’s contributions and wished him well in future endeavours.
Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in fields such as trade, transport, education, and public services. Key achievements included the Baku State Industry and Innovation Vocational Education Centre and the dual degree programme with INHA University.
Azerbaijan’s innovative ASAN Khidmet model was highlighted as a potential area for expanded collaboration.
Bayramov also shared updates on Azerbaijan’s presidency of COP29 and its climate initiatives. Ambassador Lee expressed gratitude for the partnership and hoped for continued growth in relations between the two countries.
