The UAE has welcomed a new agreement between Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan to form a shared border point and sign the Khujand Declaration, expressing hope it will boost peace, cooperation, and development in Central Asia.
The United Arab Emirates has praised the recent agreement among Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan to establish a tri-national border connection point and sign the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship, according to the WAM news agency.
Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, UAE Minister of State, expressed optimism that the deal would strengthen regional cooperation and promote peace, prosperity, and stability in Central Asia and beyond.
He also emphasised the UAE’s longstanding ties with the three nations and reaffirmed the country’s support for their efforts toward peace and development. Al Sayegh highlighted that resolving conflicts through peaceful dialogue remains essential for lasting stability.
