Smoke rises over Tehran on Wednesday as Israeli airstrikes hit police headquarters injuring several people, according to Iran’s WANA news agency on Wednesday (18 June).
It's reported there were three waves of attacks across Iran during the day yesterday.
Israel has launched large-scale military operations against Iran since Friday (13 June), targeting some of the country’s most critical nuclear facilities.
Since then, Iran has fired more than 400 ballistic missiles at Israel, triggering air raid sirens and forcing civilians to seek shelter.
According to Israeli authorities, at least 24 civilians have been killed in the attacks so far. Iran, has reported at least 224 deaths, mostly civilians.
