UN Secretary-General António Guterres has extended warm wishes to Muslims around the world celebrating Eid al-Adha, calling for unity, compassion, and solidarity in a time marked by global conflict and division.
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has extended his greetings to Muslims celebrating Eid al-Adha.
In a message shared on his official X account, Guterres offered his heartfelt wishes to everyone observing the holiday.
"In a time of conflict, division, and violence, let us draw strength from the values that inspire this celebration — solidarity, community, and compassion," he said. "Eid al-Adha Mubarak!"
