An oil tanker and a cargo ship have collided in the North Sea, according to the Coastguard.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard stated: "We are currently overseeing the emergency response following reports of a collision between a tanker and a cargo vessel off the East Yorkshire coast."
The RNLI reported that several individuals were believed to have abandoned the ships after the collision, with fires breaking out on both vessels.
The incident was reported at 09:48 GMT, and response efforts are still ongoing, the Coastguard confirmed.
