Philippine President Marcos plans to meet U.S. President Trump to discuss immigration and the Typhon missile system, amid ongoing tensions with China over the South China Sea.
A Philippine Air Force FA-50 fighter jet went missing during a Tactical Night Operations exercise early Tuesday, just minutes before reaching its target, local media reported.
Air Force officials lost contact with the jet after midnight, and despite repeated attempts, other aircraft in the exercise failed to re-establish communication. The number of crew members onboard and the exact location of the incident remain undisclosed.
