21 athletes killed in bus crash in northern Nigeria
At least 21 athletes have died after their bus veered off a bridge in Kano while returning from a national sports event.
A passenger bus veered off the road and overturned into a ditch on the Bingöl-Diyarbakır highway in eastern Türkiye, leaving five people dead and 38 others injured, officials confirmed on Thursday, February 13.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, and the injured were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
