Russian airstrikes have devasted apartment buildings in a residential area of Kharkiv, north-eastern Ukraine, injuring at least 25 people according to the local governor.
On Tuesday, “the Russian army launched two strikes with ballistic weapons,” Governor Oleh Syniehubov said on Telegram.
A rescue operation is currently underway, with emergency services and residents moving through the wreckage. Firefighters are working to put out a blaze caused by the strikes.
It is thought that people may still be trapped under the rubble.
