Russian President Vladimir Putin has received President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik at the Kremlin on Tuesday night. He arrived in Moscow after a court in Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an international arrest warrant for Dodik, the leader of the Serb half of the country.
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Serb entity, Republika Srpska (RS), adopted a new draft constitution, along with a law on protecting the constitutional order. The legislation expands RS's decision-making powers, challenging the authority of the country’s central government.
The Czech Republic is sending 150 paratroopers to Bosnia and Herzegovina to join EUFOR forces in response to growing tensions. The deployment comes amid political unrest in Republika Srpska.
