Russia intends to fully implement all agreements reached between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev regarding the investigation into the plane crash involving the AZAL airline, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin old RIA Novosti.
The two leaders met in Dushanbe on 9 October, with the main topic of their talks being the crash of the Embraer 190 near Aktau.
Russia is committed to fully implementing all agreements reached by the leaders of Russia and Azerbaijan following their meeting on the sidelines of the CIS Council of Heads of State, a source said.
As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted, “Russia will do everything required in such tragic situations.”
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Ukrainian drones were the primary cause of the passenger plane crash.
The diplomat also expressed hope that the commission established by Kazakhstan would soon complete its investigation and provide answers to all remaining questions.
Previously, it was reported that the Embraer 190 crash investigation committee had completed its work on the flight recorders.
