The index opened the day at 10,741.77 and gained 79.24 points compared with Monday’s close. During the session, it hit a low of 10,717.31 and a high of 10,847.37.
Overall, 68 indices rose in value, while 28 closed lower.
Total trading volume reached 117.2 billion Turkish liras ($2.81 billion), with the total market value of the index standing at 10 trillion liras ($240.6 billion).
On the currency market, the USD/TRY rate was 41.7050, EUR/TRY at 48.7175, and GBP/TRY traded at 56.1110. Gold was priced at $3,985.25 per ounce, while Brent crude oil stood at $65.15 per barrel.
