Israel launches new military surveillance satellite into space

Israel’s Defence Ministry announced late Tuesday that it had successfully launched the “Ofek-19” satellite into orbit at 10:30 p.m. using a “Shavit” launcher from the Palmachim airbase, in cooperation with the IDF and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
